I downloaded the .pls and tried to link directly to the url that was inside.
But it appears that the link is for AAC and the Roku wont play it.
Also when to the site and found that they stream multiple links, one being mp3. That one worked !
Here is a playlist I manually setup with an editor.

There is a big problem with internet streams and Roku. It's all hit or miss to get them to play.
Yesterday I setup a playlist in Window Media Player for a radio stream and it worked BUT not today ????
There is not a type to associate the stream and Chaneru is setup for file types and direct path names not urls.
The Roku only likes mp3 ?????
The playlist above is standard except I added code to split the Title on a "," for the screen saver. ( Looks better than another unknown )

I will post a new beta later today for PLS playlists.

how does Chaneru play this play list?

i tried making a url file with only the station i wanted:
http://edgev1.den.echo.liquidcompass.net/KRLAAMMP3 - but that did not work
i tried making a url file and copy/past your code. - didnt work
i also tried adding it to Chaneru.ini and i could not tell if it did any thing or not, but there was no new link once loaded.

so im kinda lost on how to make it run

The prior example in the topic is a complete ".pls" file in the correct format.
But I only look for file/title pairs in the text.

Go into a text editor and insert.
File1=http://edgev1.den.echo.liquidcompass.net/KRLAAMMP3
Title1=KRLA 870, Los Angeles Conservative Talk

You can have as many file/title as you want.
Then save it as a .pls file in one of your linked folders or make a new link just for Radio stations.

The number after the "File" and "Title" doesn't matter, I skip it.
But the "Title" must be after the "File", if you want something other than "unknown" to show.
Use a comma in the "Title" to split into artist, album.
In this case "KRLA 870" is the artist and "Los Angeles Conservative Talk" is the album.
